2025 Hiring Insights Report

The 2025 Hiring Insights Report represents a comprehensive analysis based on a survey of over 500 professionals in talent, HR, and recruitment. This report sheds light on the primary hiring challenges encountered in 2024 and delves into the strategies that top-performing teams implemented to achieve their recruitment objectives. Over a period of two months, our talented team developed a web version, a PDF, ads, social media graphics, internal enablement company content, and more. The main report launched on January 31, 2025.

Challenge
Turn a survey of 500+ talent, HR, and recruiting leaders into a Q1 thought-leadership piece for enterprise TA leaders, and make the web experience the star rather than a long PDF.
Outcome
A 12-page web report with 120+ charts from a Figma chart system, plus ads and enablement content. It reached 1,545 unique users, 97% of the quarterly goal, with 10 business days left.

Quick Initial Concept

From the start, we knew we wanted bold, eye-catching visuals to make this report stand out. Our color palette is exceptionally vibrant, and we quickly decided to incorporate splines in various shapes and directions, using our brand colors to create dynamic, organic compositions.

Early concept: a pink-to-purple gradient spline folding across a black background Early concept: a purple, pink, and yellow gradient spline curving across white Early concept: a looping yellow-to-violet gradient spline on black Early concept: a wide magenta and violet gradient spline on black Hero direction: “2025 Hiring Insights Report” centered over a magenta spline on dark navy Hero direction on dark navy: report title beside a smiling woman framed by gradient splines Hero direction on white: report title beside a smiling woman framed by gradient splines Hero direction on dark navy with a left-aligned title and a large gradient spline

Creative Direction

Ideation to final creative direction moved very quickly, as we landed on a style we loved very early in the process. From there, we applied the direction to various assets to test it.

Final report landing page hero in light mode Social ad: “See how tech TA teams are supercharging their hiring in 2025” on a magenta gradient Manufacturing edition ad featuring a smiling worker in a hard hat Social ad: “Why hiring teams missed their goals by 52% last year” on dark navy Social ad: “93% of TA leaders are investing in more technology in 2025” above chart previews Pre-launch sign-up page for the report with a lead form and customer logos iCIMS marketplace banner: “How 500+ TA leaders are redefining success in 2025” Retail edition ad featuring a woman holding a tablet Final report landing page hero in dark mode Social ad: “Enterprise TA teams have already adopted AI & automation for hiring” with the report on a tablet Email signature banner: “500+ TA leaders reveal a roadmap for hiring success” Wide iCIMS marketplace banner promoting the report

Chart Style

Utilizing the gradient style from our brand, a Figma system was created to rapidly generate charts from raw data from Tableau. From that, over 120 charts were created for this report.

Web-first Approach

We took a digital-first approach, prioritizing an engaging web experience. In previous years, the focus was on producing a lengthy PDF, which meant more effort went into creating shareable assets rather than creating a great web experience for readers. The report included 12 separate landing pages, woven together via interlinking and a modal table of contents. Below is the layout and prototype settings for the web experience.

Report Design (Sample)

The final report designs included over 12 pages, featuring an in-depth analysis of our five core industries. It also contained 100 charts, 20 callout stat boxes, and more than 10 strategically placed CTAs.

Results

The primary goal of this report was to make a strong impact in Q1 with a thought-leadership piece that would serve as a cornerstone for attracting Managers and Directors of Talent Acquisition at large enterprise companies. Additionally, it was designed to support the sales team by providing a compelling thought-leadership resource to help close deals in the pipeline. Our goal was to get 1600 unique users to the report introduction page through organic search, organic social, paid social (targeting our ABM and TAL lists), e-mail, and sales outreach.
