Quick Initial Concept
From the start, we knew we wanted bold, eye-catching visuals to make this report stand out. Our color palette is exceptionally vibrant, and we quickly decided to incorporate splines in various shapes and directions, using our brand colors to create dynamic, organic compositions.
Creative Direction
Ideation to final creative direction moved very quickly, as we landed on a style we loved very early in the process. From there, we applied the direction to various assets to test it.
Chart Style
Utilizing the gradient style from our brand, a Figma system was created to rapidly generate charts from raw data from Tableau. From that, over 120 charts were created for this report.
Web-first Approach
We took a digital-first approach, prioritizing an engaging web experience. In previous years, the focus was on producing a lengthy PDF, which meant more effort went into creating shareable assets rather than creating a great web experience for readers. The report included 12 separate landing pages, woven together via interlinking and a modal table of contents. Below is the layout and prototype settings for the web experience.
Report Design (Sample)
The final report designs included over 12 pages, featuring an in-depth analysis of our five core industries. It also contained 100 charts, 20 callout stat boxes, and more than 10 strategically placed CTAs.
Results
The primary goal of this report was to make a strong impact in Q1 with a thought-leadership piece that would serve as a cornerstone for attracting Managers and Directors of Talent Acquisition at large enterprise companies. Additionally, it was designed to support the sales team by providing a compelling thought-leadership resource to help close deals in the pipeline. Our goal was to get 1600 unique users to the report introduction page through organic search, organic social, paid social (targeting our ABM and TAL lists), e-mail, and sales outreach.
As of March 19, 2025, we’ve had 1,545 unique users, putting us at 97% to goal for the quarter with 10 business days left in March. Above is the acquisition breakdown from GA4.
